The session also examines how digital technologies and AI are transforming obesity practice and influencing the broader evolution of clinical medicine
1. Describe key concepts of AI and its applications in obesity medicine, including disease phenotyping and prediction of treatment response.
2. Evaluate AI-enabled tools and digital health technologies for their clinical validity, utility, and limitations in obesity care.
3. Apply AI-driven insights and digital technologies in clinical practice to support personalized, longitudinal obesity management while considering ethical and equity implications.

Gitanjali Srivastava, MD, MEng FAAP, FACP, FTOS is Professor of Medicine, Pediatrics & Surgery & Chief of Obesity Medicine at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.  Dr. Srivastava is a physician-scientist with >15 years senior leadership experience in clinical & translational research, medical education, innovation in AI/ML (including digital health), clinical care, and healthcare systems with breadth of experience bridging academia with biopharma partnerships and external KOL engagements.
